<p class="rvps9"><span class="rvts14">Terms and Definitions</span></p>
<p class="rvps5"><span class="rvts9">Dimensions:</span><span class="rvts8"> These are the criteria for which you want to measure performance. Examples of dimensions are Time, Country, Division, Warehouse, and so on. When considering a graph, the dimensions are the criteria that appear on the x axis.</span></p>
<p class="rvps5"><span class="rvts9">Measures:</span><span class="rvts8"> These are the units of measurement used to evaluate specific dimensions. Examples of units are Sales--Gross Sales, Nett Sales, Actuals (units or currency). When considering a graph, the measures are the values that appear on the y axis.</span></p>
<p class="rvps5"><span class="rvts9">Filters:</span><span class="rvts8"> A filter is applied to obtain a specific set of data from within a report. For example, you can set a filter so that you can view the Gross Sales of a specific Zone for a defined quarter. Example: Gross Sales in Asia Pacific during the 1st quarter of 2010.</span></p>
<p class="rvps5"><span class="rvts9">Alerts:</span><span class="rvts8"> Notify you when a specific condition occurs. This can only be done when the condition that triggers the alert is defined. As a CUBOT user you can define the alerts you require. For example, if you are a Sales Manager you may want to be alerted when sales of a product such as jute falls below a specific level, in a given city, you can set an alert for this.</span></p>
