CUBOT ETL is
made up of 2 distinct parts:

The
Configurator is a front-end interface that can be accessed through the Admin

Processor
is the backend of the ETL and performs the following operations:<o:p></o:p>

Repositories consist of different types of
stores like Directories, Database, Excel and XML. Whenever user wants to create
a store he has to add these stores in a repository.<o:p></o:p>

The below section explains how to add and
edit a repository.<o:p></o:p>

name="_Toc182734018"></a><a name="_Toc182731495">Adding new repository</a></h3>

<![endif]>Click ETL tab to see a list of stores and repositories
displayed on the left side of the screen and
information page in the right pane. Once we click on the ETL tab, the following

Repository
Name: Enter the name of the repository in this field. The repository name cannot be more than 16 characters
and they should be alphanumeric only. This
field is a mandatory field. <o:p></o:p>

Description:
Enter description of the repository. The description can be of maximum 125
characters and this field is an optional field.<o:p></o:p>

<![endif]>Click on the Next button to save the details of new repository and proceed to
the next level that is Adding store. <o:p></o:p>

From the

you can add a store.<o:p></o:p>

name="_Add_a_Directory_(Text store):"></a>Add a Directory (Text store):</h3>

name field, enter a store name and in the Description text box enter brief description of the store that you
are adding. Once we enter all the fields, click on the Next button and you will see Directory
Mask screen as shown in Figure 55. <o:p></o:p>

Mask
Format: MASK FORMAT
supports all wild char patterns. This use all formats supported by ls command
in UNIX &amp; by dir command in windows.. SOME examples like *.log, abc.log. <o:p></o:p>

Included
Files: In this box we can see all the files present in the selected folder
after applying file mask. Eg: when we enter mask format like *.txt
and click on the refresh icon<![if !vml]><img border=0 width=31 height=24
src="admin_guide_files/image139.gif" v:shapes="_x0000_i1105"><![endif]> , then
we can only see the files with the extensions *.txt in the Included files
box.<o:p></o:p>

<![endif]>So once we enter all the fields under Directory Mask screen, click on the Next button to go the Extract screen. For more details, see <a

have made all the required changes in the destination table screen click on the
Apply button to create or modify the
destination table and then click on the Next
button to go to the Transformation screen.

with a list of tasks present in the store with its source table and the

Cubot has different set of log screens which explains specifically and
those log screens are saved in CUBOT
